Our waters are rich in marlin, swordfish, tuna, dorado and sierra.

Whale-Watching

The Banderas Bay is the winter breeding ground of the humpback whale. We also host grey whales, orcas and dolphins. See them frolic on a day-long party-boat excursion, or charter your own panga.

Scuba Diving

We know the fast boats and safe operators to take you north to see the gorgeous reefs at Las Tres Marietas, or south to El Morro and Quimixto.

Spanish Lessons

We are very lucky to have Linda Moller teaching Spanish here. She specializes in accelerated learning, and when she is not teaching in Bucerias, she is teaching others all over the world.

The North American community in Bucerias is very active in charitable works, and most of us volunteer in one way or another. Some of our projects:
